DAY 1 Departure from Tirana at 06:30. We continue the journey towards the Morina border. We will make a stop for coffee/breakfast along the way. After the customs (borders) procedures, we head towards the city of Prizren where we will visit the main sights of the city. Then we continue towards Valbona, where we will also be accommodated in a hotel. We will have lunch with traditional dishes. We will then get closer to the breathtaking nature that the Albanian Alps offer by visiting Mulliri and Lake Xhema, and you will also have the opportunity to swim in the nearby peaceful lakes. After the nature walk, we return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2 After breakfast, around 08:30, we leave the hotel and head towards Fierza Lake where we will have the opportunity to take the ferry to go to Lake Koman. The ferry ride lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes, giving us the chance to enjoy the fresh air of the Alps, panoramic views, and the calmness that nature offers there. After getting off the ferry, we have time for a walk nearby and then have lunch at Vau I Dejes. After lunch, we head towards Theth where we will also be accommodated. After settling in, we visit the Theth church, the Ngujimi Tower, and the Grunas Waterfall. Dinner will be at the guesthouse.
DAY 3 After breakfast (bread, cheese, jam, honey, milk, tea, eggs, etc.), we head to visit the "Bathtub Rings"(Vaskave te Gurit) and the "Blue Eye"(Syri I Kalter) using the area's transport (extra cost 500 lek). In the afternoon, we head towards Shkodra where we will have the opportunity to have dinner and then visit the castle, which is not just a fortress. The famous Rozafa Castle was built in the 4th century BC and for hundreds of years it remained untouched, an invincible bastion to defend the city. Here, the legend of Rozafa still exists, the young woman who sacrificed herself and was walled up alive within the fortress walls. While half of her body was closed, the other half was left free to allow the fearless lady to breastfeed her baby and hug her regularly. Inside the castle, we visit the museum, which contains interesting documentation about the history of Shkodra. In fact, over the millennia, different peoples and cultures have succeeded each other - Illyrians, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, and Slavs, leaving significant traces of their passage. After the tour ends, we will head to the village of Shiroke, where we will have free time to walk and then head back to the hotel. Dinner will be at the hotel or somewhere in Shkodra.
DAY 4 After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards the village of Tamare, where we will make a short stop and have the opportunity to swim in the Cemi River. Then we continue our journey towards Lepusha, with a stop at the Leqet e Hotit Balcony, where we enjoy the wonderful view surrounding us on all four sides. Arrival in Lepusha for lunch. After lunch, we head to the Vusanje village, where we will be accommodated. In the evening, we can enjoy the local cuisine and a peaceful night in the mountains.
DAY 5 After consuming a rich traditional breakfast, we continue our journey to explore the natural wonders. We head to the village of Vuthaj where we will visit Ali Pasha Gucia's Kroje and the Blue Eye of Skafkac together with the Gerla River. We have dinner in Vuthaj and then we head to the border checkpoint to return to Tirana with a short stop along the way. We arrive in Tirana around 9:00-9:30 pm.
